Since I was a young girl I have always had a love for travel and culture. I founded Christy Smith Travel in 2017 and in the next few years added 2 travel advisors to my team. Five years later in 2022 we grew so much as an agency that we rebranded to Sunburst Destinations, LLC! We now have 5 total travel advisors ready to serve you!

Growing up as a “Navy Brat” we moved every couple of years, so I saw many different parts of
the United States. In 2010, I traveled with a group of Girl Scouts on a 10-day tour of Europe and
visited London, England; Paris and Versailles, France; and Lucerne and Adelboden, Switzerland.

I have two adult daughters. Danielle is married to Neil, an Air Force Pilot, who is currently
stationed in Germany – looking forward to visiting them and seeing even more places in
Europe. Taylor lives in Orlando, FL and works for Disney.
Now that I am an empty nester, I thought it was time to start something new. I am still working
my full-time job but was looking for something to occupy my evenings and weekends. I am
excited to help my friends and family make their travel dreams become reality as part of
Christy’s team!
